Q: It sounds a bit too good to be true. I am not that good at reading my body’s signals, so not sure that I can create my own plan on a group call…. I can get to the part where I know I’m not really hungry. Then I just eat it anyway. UNLESS, I’m doing something super structured (low-carb or WW) which is easy to follow, but I can only last a few months.

Maybe you can eat an ice cream bar every night and still lose weight for the last time? I will teach you how to test this.
Maybe boredom is not a problem that needs to be solved with ice cream? I teach you how to handle boredom.
This is not a diet. I mean you could call it that if you want. But what I teach is forever.
What IS joy? Is it ice cream? Is it feeling good in your body? Maybe you can have both. Maybe you can't.
My guess is there is more joy to be had when you are done with all of this. This is what my clients find to be true, that there is MORE TRUE joy on the other side of using food to solve boredom or provide fleeting joy. It is BETTER not worse. It is a win win.
This all depends on what you want. If you want real joy, freedom from diet culture and food + body drama, and to weigh your dream weight, this is your program.

Q: I think my problem is that I’m wasting too much time feeling unhappy about my body. I’m tired of thinking about what to eat and I already know every diet theory backward and forwards. I really wish I could just feel good about my body at this weight, but I know that losing (again) about 15 pounds makes me feel so much better. (Although, even when I get to my lowest, I’m always thinking that just a few more pounds would really be great.) I’m also thinking PLEASE DON’T SCREW IT UP. And then I screw it up.
I really just don’t want to waste any more time thinking about weight/ weight loss. But, I’ve really tried so many things - and every time I think this will be the one that works ‘forever.’ I’m 46 - I just don’t know if I can really stop eating mindlessly when I’m sad/bored/happy/celebrating/rebelling/any emotion possible. I want to feel good about myself and live a big life with friends and family. I want to be fearless when I go out or on vacation that I can be satisfied food-wise, but also not overeat.
A: Don't beat yourself up. You simply haven't been taught all that you need to be taught (neither had I! - no one has - no wonder it is such a problem in our culture!) to make it permanent. Most of my clients know everything about every diet. I even have doctors, nutritionists and dietitians that do my program. This program isn't about more more knowledge on nutrition necessarily, it is about: hormones, mindset, feeling feelings, accountability, habit change, fun and love. Your past literally has nothing to do with your ability to be successful in the future. I promise. Everything you want IS available to you and I can help you get there. It will be simpler than you think.
